Summary
This website uses first-party technical cookies, which are necessary and do not require consent, and, only if you accept them, analytics cookies (Google Analytics) and advertising cookies (Meta). Until you choose, no analytics or advertising cookies are set.
You can change your choice at any time from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser to remember information about your visit: for example, your language, whether you are signed in or which pages you have viewed. Some are needed for the website to work (technical cookies) and others are used to measure use or show advertising. The latter require your prior consent, under Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services (LSSI) and the GDPR.

| Type | Do we use them? | Do they need your consent? |
|---|---|---|

| Advertising (Meta) | Only if you accept them | Yes |

Technical cookies (first party)
| Name | Purpose | Duration |

nlab_lang |
Remembers the language you have chosen (Spanish, Catalan or English), so that we do not suggest another one again. It is only created when you choose a language or close the language notice. | 1 year |
nlab_consent |
Remembers your choice about analytics and advertising cookies, so that we do not ask you again on every page. | 12 months |
They are needed to provide a service you ask for, so they are exempt from the consent requirement (Article 22.2 of the LSSI).
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics)
They tell us, in aggregate, how many people visit the website, which pages they view and where they come from, so that we can improve it. We have turned off the advertising features of Google Analytics (Google Signals and ad personalisation).

_ga |
Tells one browser from another in order to count visits. | 2 years | |
_ga_3QR7H0X9JL |

Advertising cookies (Meta)
They let us know whether our ads on Facebook and Instagram bring visits and enquiries, and show our ads to people who have visited the website. The Meta pixel is not loaded on pages about dyslexia and dyscalculia, even if you have accepted these cookies.
| Name | Owner | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_fbp |
Meta | Identifies the browser in order to measure ads. | 3 months |
_fbc |
Meta | Stores the click identifier, if you arrive from a Meta ad. | 3 months |
If you have accepted these cookies and submit a form, our server also tells Meta that an enquiry has been made. This is explained in the privacy policy.
How to accept, reject or change your choice
The first time you visit, we ask you. You can accept all cookies, reject them or choose them one by one (analytics and advertising separately). None is ticked by default.
To change your mind, click “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page. If you withdraw consent you had given, we delete the Google or Meta cookies from your browser and stop loading their services. Your choice is kept for 12 months; after that, we ask you again.

How to manage cookies in your browser
As well as “Cookie settings”, you can view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Bear in mind that if you block all cookies, some websites may not work properly.
